One of the most notable accusers in the monumental sex abuse case against Jeffrey Epstein has revealed she has only “days to live” after she was hit by a school bus.
Virginia Giuffre Roberts, who claims she was only 17 years old when she was sexually abused by the late billionaire and the disgraced royal Prince Andrew, made the shocking announcement in an Instagram post on Sunday.
“This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can,” she wrote. “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology.”

Giuffre sued Prince Andrew for sexual assault in 2021, as a photo of the royal with his arm around her became one of the most notorious pictures of the Epstein sex scandal. Andrew had long denied any involvement in Epstein’s horrific crimes.
The lawsuit was settled the following year.
In the background of the infamous image was Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s “madam” who’s now serving 20 years in prison for child sex trafficking.
In a 2019 interview with the BBC, Prince Andrew denied the allegations brought by Giuffre and suggested the photo may have been doctored. The public response to the interview was highly critical, and shortly thereafter he announced he was stepping back from royal duties.
Still, Giuffre’s accusations against Prince Andrew rocked the monarchy in Great Britain, a black eye for the royal family in the final years of Queen Elizabeth II’s life.
Epstein was found dead in his New York City prison cell in August 2019.
