HOW Many Kids Does Elon Musk Have? Atlantic Writer Explains Unique Baby-Mama Harem

The Atlantic’s Elizabeth Bruenig argued Elon Musk could feel a “sense of duty or obligation” to spread his “seed” and gift the world with “extremely smart offspring” when trying to explain the X owner’s numerous children with multiple women.

Bruenig joined Alisyn Camerota and Dave Briggs on the Sanity podcast to discuss her piece The Harem of Elon Musk, which focuses on Musk offering a “very different vision of fatherhood” from the Republicans he is now aligned with through his work with President Donald Trump and DOGE.

Camerota argued Musk’s 14 known children — from at least four mothers — is the most “peculiar” thing about the billionaire. A Wall Street Journal expose suggested Musk is meeting potential mothers on social media and offering financial incentives.

Bruenig said some believe Musk has more than 100 children.

“The reason we don’t know about all of these other children and women is because he makes his baby mamas sign NDAs and he’s very lawyered up and he is litigious and he does sue them if they speak,” Camerota said.

“So Ashley St. Clair, who is the latest woman to have one of Elon Musk’s babies that we know of, was paid $15 million and given a $100,000 per month living stipend. So I thought, I could have a baby when I heard about that,” Bruenig said with a laugh, referring to Ashley St. Clair, a conservative influencer who revealed recently she had a child with Musk.

“Dave would have a baby for that,” Camerota joked.

“We all would,” Bruenig said.

Camerota called Musk’s fathering habits “dystopian” and “hypocritical” when put in the context of the pro-family values pushed in the Republican Party.

“It’s also weird, Elizabeth, and obviously it’s ripe for comedy, but there’s something very dystopian, I find, about this and dark and, I mean and hypocritical, wildly hypocritically, because let’s remember that it’s Republicans who have always championed family values. How is this family values? He doesn’t acknowledge some of his children. And he refuses to be on the birth certificate. Of some of his children. He pays off the women. He attacks them in court. He, as you know, he’s estranged from one of his, children, Vivian. I mean, this flies in the face of anything that any sane person sees as family values,” she said.

Bruenig theorized that Musk is not looking for “companionship” and he’s motivated by both his concerns about falling birth rates and gifting the world with his “extremely smart offspring.”

“Elon Musk has tweeted many times and spoken many times about his notion that birth rate declines mean the future of human civilization is in danger. And it’s true that birth rates are dropping all over the world. It seems to be associated with widespread technology and increasing wealth,” she said.

The writer added, “I think another aspect of this is Elon Musk feels like his genes are especially good. He believes himself to be especially smart. And therefore I think feels a sense of duty or obligation to the rest of us fools. To seed the world with his extremely smart offspring.”

“Sounds especially insane, I think,” Camerota said.
