‘Oh My God!’ Joe Rogan Stunned Over Truth Social Selling Access To Trump’s Posts

Joe Rogan was stunned to learn President Donald Trump is selling early access to market-moving Truth Social posts, something Trump is now being sued over.

Trump Media, which owns Truth Social, faced accusations of promoting “insider trading” with the announcement that earlier access to posts made by the president would come at a steep cost to subscribers willing to fork over the dough for posts that can oftentimes significantly affect markets.

Intercept Media and the nonprofit Freedom of the Press Association sued this month over the move by Trump media.

Rogan learned about the early-access subscription service from fellow comedian Shane Gillis on the new episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, released on Thursday.

“Wait a minute, is that real? You get access to a tweet before he makes it and then you can bet on that tweet? How’s that legal?” Rogan asked after Gillis noted people could get the early access and then make bets on the market accordingly.

Truth Social is selling access to a service known as its API which provides “instant access to high-speed trading machines.” Companies can essentially pay for faster access to posts on Truth Social.

Rogan then read Trump Media was being sued and cracked, “Who is telling him this is a good idea? I feel like I need to be closer to him.”

Rogan endorsed Trump in the 2024 presidential election, but he’s grown more vocally critical on issues like the Epstein files, the Iran War, and mass deportations.

As Rogan dug more into the Truth Social service, his jaw hit the floor as he found out the service costs $100,000 a month.

“Oh my God! Not even $100,000 a year, each month?!” he exclaimed, questioning how the whole thing could be legal.

Rogan accused Trump of being “on a grab” for cash before he leaves office and he questioned whether this particular idea came from some administration “weasel.”

“It’s probably not even Trump,” he said. “It was probably some weasel who works in the administration who is just like, charge them $100,000 a month, and you can post things, and move the market.”
