Exclusive: Former Fox Newser Major Garrett Shares His Thoughts On Keith Olbermann
Since his seemingly sudden exit from Fox News in August, National Journal Hill correspondent Major Garrett has been keeping himself very busy, and to hear him tell it, having the time of his life. He took time out of that busy schedule to catch Mediaite readers up on all things Garrett. In this segment of our exclusive interview, Major talks about what the future holds for Keith Olbermann, and wishes him well.
Major and I met just outside the Rivers at the Watergate restaurant (where they serve some mean Bison Sliders with horseradish mayo), and spoke for about minutes on a variety of topics. Although we’ve been colleagues for over two years, this was the first time I’d had the opportunity to interview Major (on-camera, at least). Given the length of the interview, and my travel schedule, I’ve broken it up into 8 parts, to be released as they’re ready.
