The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that Michael C. Teegarden was arrested shortly before 8 AM Thursday morning, as federal agents executed a search warrant of his home. Teegarden, who is also senior vice president of wealth management firm The Main Street Group, is accused of “online trading of digital child pornography on a peer-to-peer file-sharing network.”

In a statement to Mediaite, the O’Malley campaign responded saying, “We’re horrified by these allegations, and if he is found guilty he should be punished to the full extent of the law. He is no longer a volunteer, and we have severed all ties with him immediately.”
