Dave Portnoy Slams ‘Hitler Lover’ UFC Fighter After He’s Choked Out in Loss

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy took great pleasure in watching UFC star Bryce Mitchell lose in humiliating fashion Saturday.

Mitchell took on Brazilian fighter Jean Silva in a featherweight bout in Saturday’s UFC 314. Approximately four minutes into the second round, Mitchell was forced to tap out after Silva put him in a chokehold. As noted by ringside announcer Joe Rogan, Mitchell appeared to have been knocked unconscious after just a few seconds in the hold.

In a video posted just minutes after Silva’s win, Portnoy — donning a yarmulke — was seen accosting Mitchell from outside the cage while waving an Israeli flag.

“Always fun to see a Hitler lover get his ass whopped,” Portnoy said on Twitter/X.

Mitchell has become one of the UFC’s more controversial figures due to a series of hateful comments. During a rant on a January episode of his podcast, Mitchell claimed the first-ever “tranny surgery” was in Germany and that it occurred “before Hitler took over.” Additionally, Mitchell claimed that Adolf Hitler only “burned queer books because Hitler didn’t want a bunch of queers destroying his nation.”

He prefaced all of that by stating his belief that Hitler was a “good guy” who “wanted to purify” Germany by “kicking the greedy Jews.”
