WATCH: Pro-Palestinian Protester Bodied After Storming Yankee Stadium Field During 9/11 Game

A man waving a Palestinian flag stormed the field at Yankee Stadium at approximately 9:11 p.m. on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and was quicklyl tackled to the ground amid a chorus of “USA” chants.

Fox & Friends Weekend aired the footage on Saturday morning. The protest led to a brief halt in the Yankees-Mets game during the seventh inning.

“It’s just amazing to hear USA chants erupting when obviously 10 days after 9/11 when at Shea Stadium you had the Mike Piazza home run, chants of USA, and of course you heard chants of USA with President [George W.] Bush [throwing the first pitch],” Griff Jenkins said in reaction to the clip.

“How did this guy think it would end on 9/11 of all times to pull a stunt like this?” Rachel Campos-Duffy asked.

The New York Post first reported the man’s identity as Kelly Marcucci, 38, who is now facing misdemeanor charges for interference with a professional sporting event and trespassing.

Marcucci was also wearing a jersey that read “no kings,” a popular term used by critics of President Donald Trump.

Marcucci’s social media accounts shows a heavy interest in various conspiracy theories. Hours before the Friday game, the Long Island man posted a lengthy message to Facebook about “late stage capitalism.” He ranted against Trump, child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein, Mark Zuckerberg and others, including podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan whom he claimed was “paid to platform” such people. On his Instagram, he’s also reposted conspiracy theorists like Candace Owens.

On a non-active OnlyFans page, Marcucci also reportedly described himself as a “revisionist-Marxist” and said he’s “passionate about social equality.”

“Politically, I identify as a revisionist-Marxist, and the core values of this expression are very important to me,” he wrote.

The Yankees ultimately won the game against the Mets on Friday 6-4.
