ABC Affiliate Uses Lost Poster to Promote MH370 Coverage
Omaha’s ABC affiliate KETV apparently just could not resist the urge to reference the ABC drama Lost in a promotion for the station’s coverage of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. In a now-deleted tweet, the station teased the “latest theories” about what happened to the plane with an image of the Lost poster with the words “FLIGHT 370” where the show’s title would normally go:

This is not the first time the Lost series, in which the passengers of the fictional Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 end up marooned on a mysterious island, has been tied to the missing Malaysia Airlines plan. At a panel for that show’s 10th anniversary earlier this week, audience members were told to refrain from asking questions related to the real-life plane disappearance as they likely be would not be in “good taste.”
