CNN Reports ‘People Are Pouring Baby Oil on Each Other’ Outside Diddy Courtroom and ‘Chanting It’s Not RICO It’s Freak-O’
People outside the courthouse following the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs were reportedly pouring baby oil on themselves in celebration of the verdict.
Combs was on trial for charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. On Wednesday morning, a jury found that he was not guilty of the most serious charges — racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. The jury did, however, find Combs guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The high-profile lawsuit and subsequent trial were filled with scandalous, often horrific details involving the music mogul and other involved parties. Chief among them was the revelation that Combs and others frequently participated in sex parties known as “freak-offs.” For these parties, Combs allegedly purchased excessive amounts of baby oil.
Reporting from New York, CNN’s Laura Coates detailed the bizarre scene unfolding outside the courthouse:
Now, outside of the courthouse, you don’t have the marshals regulating the behavior. You don’t have the marshals upholding that prim-and-proper etiquette that is happening inside of a courtroom.
No, instead — I kid you not — people are pouring baby oil on one another outside this courthouse. Baby oil having a very big play in the freak-offs we heard about. You have people saying, “It’s not RICO, it’s freak-o.”
