Dave Rubin Calls Out Bill Maher For The Homeless Encampment Outside His Studio: ‘I Actually Brought Some Fentanyl’

Conservative commentator Dave Rubin poked fun at Bill Maher during a discussion about the homeless crisis in California by pointing out there was an encampment outside the studio.

Rubin, Maher, and political consultant James Carville discussed the recent debate between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Carville and Maher praised the Democratic leader for appearing chrematistic and “slick” during his showdown with DeSantis.

The faceoff hosted by Fox News primetime personality Sean Hannity brought in 4.75 million average viewers for the network. The “DeSantis vs. Newsom: The Great Red vs. Blue State Debate,” featured discussions about a variety of issues, including climate change and immigration.

However, Rubin disagreed noting that Newsom only appeared slick because he’s similar to a “lizard person” and everything he said during the debate “was a lie.” He then pointed out that California is in such a state of disarray that he noticed a homeless encampment outside Maher’s LA studio.

RUBIN: Every single thing that he said was a lie. Everything he said. I mean, this place, California. And come on, Bill. This place. Did you see the homeless encampment right outside this studio? Right outside the studio. I actually bought some fentanyl if you want.

MAHER: I talk about that. I talk about California’s problems a lot, which is probably why Governor Newsom has not been on the show in six years.
