‘This Guy Needs to Shut Up!’ Fox’s Payne Goes OFF Over Dem Rep Sarcastically Challenging Republicans to Remove the Statue of Liberty

Fox Business’ Charles Payne was clearly not amused by Congressman Maxwell Frost (D-FL) accusing Republicans of xenophobic bigotry while daring them to get rid of the Statue of Liberty.

Payne was the #OneLuckyGuy on Thursday’s Outnumbered as the Fox News show talked about recent struggles around the country to cope with the influx of migrants. The segment particularly focused on Frost’s recent House floor speech, in which he slammed Republicans over their support for H.R. 2, a bill that would implement hardline policy changes regarding border security and cracking down on undocumented immigrants.

When Frost spoke on Wednesday, he chastised Republicans over the bill by saying, “Let’s be honest with immigrants who deserve better than what you’re offering. Don’t welcome them if you plan to reject them.” He then announced that he drafted a bill to have the Statue of Liberty removed, sarcastically demanding Republicans to support that too if they’re going to back H.R. 2.

“This is who you are, removing the fabric of America,” Frost proclaimed. “So, I want to know which Republican, who supports and voted for H.R.2, will introduce this bill. If you’re gonna support H.R.2 and these bigoted measures, the least you can do is not be a damn liar.”

“Oh save it, Maxwell,” Emily Compagno groaned on Thursday during Outnumbered’s coverage. Payne took it from there by saying he was “surprised” Democrats still invoke the Statue of Liberty now that left-leaning political figures are warning about the strain immigrants are having on cities.

This led to Payne getting highly indignant with Frost:

The hypocrisy of this guy is mind-boggling! Stop it already! You have had enough Democratic mayors who have said we can’t do it. It’s crazy, and then who is getting hurt? It’s the Black and Hispanics in the towns whose kids are being kept out of school so the illegal immigrants can stay there.

They can’t get medical care! They’re the ones who voted you into office and you treat ’em like crap! This guy needs to shut up, and please Democrats, never bring up the Statue of Liberty again! Don’t bring it up!
