Trump Campaign Ad Claiming America Has ‘Gone to Hell’ Under Biden Features Images From Trump’s Term

A two-minute ad aired by the Trump campaign during Sunday’s NFL Philadelphia Eagles game, depicting the United States “gone to hell” under the Biden administration, is being mocked for using an image of protests shot during his own presidency.

The ad, titled “Never Quit,” featured footage from a 2020 protest in Seattle that occurred in the wake of George Floyd’s murder.

The image, originally published in a KPIC CBS affiliate gallery, was initially used in a story headlined “After day of fiery protests, uneasy calm in Seattle.”

Although the ad’s message targets the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of civil unrest, the choice of imagery has prompted scrutiny due to its origin during Trump’s own time in office.

Asked to explain the discrepancy by Politico, Trump’s campaign spokesperson defended the choice, arguing it accurately depicted the broader issue Trump’s campaign wants to highlight.

A spokesperson said: “The riot imagery shows the same radical leftists that embrace the chaos in Kamala’s broken worldview. President Trump will fix our cities, make the nation safe, and stand up to those whose ideology says this abhorrent action is OK.”

Watch Never Quit above.
