Mediaite Presents The Interview: Our Brand-New Podcast, With First Guest Tucker Carlson
I’m excited to announce that Mediaite is launching its first weekly podcast, just a few months before the 2020 presidential election. It will be called, in our best attempt at simplicity, The Interview. Not to spoil the surprise, but it will be just that: A weekly interview with the top personalities in the world that Mediaite holds dear. I will be speaking to the journalists, cable news hosts, media executives and politicians making — and sometimes writing — the headlines.
The Interview will air weekly, on Thursdays, in the run-up to the November election. With the race between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden, an ongoing pandemic, protests against racial injustice and a media industry in turmoil, we’ve got a lot to talk about. I’ll be speaking with the biggest names in media and politics about these issues, and how they are personally navigating this wild year.
The first episode of The Interview will air this Thursday, Aug. 20, and will feature Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who has emerged this year as one of the most-watched people on television.
Our next guest will be CNN’s Don Lemon, one of the most buzzed-about hosts on all of cable news.
