Piers Morgan Confronts Vivek Ramaswamy on ‘Medieval Barbarism’ of His Proposal to Put Hamas Heads on Spikes

Piers Morgan confronted Vivek Ramaswamy on the “medieval barbarism” of his proposal for how to deal with Hamas after its terror attack on Israel.

In a speech before the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas, the aspiring 2024 presidential candidate said he “would love nothing more than for the IDF to put the heads of the top 100 Hamas leaders on stakes and line them up on the Israel-Gaza border as a sign that October 7, 2023, will never happen again.”

Morgan asked Ramaswamy about those comments in an interview that will air on TalkTV show Piers Morgan Uncensored. In a preview of the interview released on X, once Twitter, Morgan said: “That’s not diplomacy. That’s gonna be pouring a bucket of fuel onto a raging fire.”

Ramaswamy, a former biotech entrepreneur who rose to political prominence with appearances on Fox News decrying “wokeism,” insisted his proposal was serious.

“I actually think that might be far better as an alternative to a prolonged ground invasion of Gaza involving a bunch of civilians,” Ramaswamy replied.

This drew a shocked “Really?” from Morgan. “But isn’t that the kind of medieval barbarism which they perpetrated on the people of Israel on October 7th?” Morgan asked.

It’s unclear how Ramaswamy proposes Israel would round up “the top 100 Hamas leaders.”

Ramaswamy also proposed in his speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition that Israel could eliminate Hamas’ leaders by replicating Game of Thrones and massacring them in a “Red Wedding.”
