Ann Romney’s RNC Speech May Be Moved To Tuesday, Per Report

Earlier, we’d reported that Ann Romney‘s speech at the Republican National Convention, scheduled for Monday night, might not have made it onto network TV because the three major networks haven’t planned to carry convention coverage that night. In an update on that front, it appears Romney’s speech may be moved to Tuesday night.

Mitt Romney‘s campaign is pondering the move, which would allow Ann Romney’s speech to get maximum primetime television coverage, POLITICO’s Dylan Byers reported.

Per Byers:

The debate over the move is ongoing but appears likely, as sources at multiple networks said that it is highly unlikely that the nets would decide to add an hour of primetime coverage on Monday night. Such a move would be expensive, require a great deal of last-minute planning, and could also lead to calls for an extra hour of Democratic convention coverage.
