Ben Carson Wouldn’t Kill Baby Hitler Because He Wouldn’t Abort Anybody

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson told reporters that he wouldn’t kill Baby Hitler if given the chance because he doesn’t like abortion, and he doesn’t want to abort anyone.

Here’s the glorious moment SB Nation blogger PFT Commenter asked Carson the pivotal question, “As the most anti-Hitler, but also the most anti-abortion candidate, would you about baby Hitler?” Without changing a single muscle in his face, Carson responded: “I’m not in favor of aborting anybody.”

If you’re wondering why the hell this question was put to the media savvy candidate in the first place, consider (1) Carson’s own history with Adolf Hitler, and (2) the ridiculous New York Times Magazine poll about killing the Nazi leader in his infancy.

  1. Back in October, Carson told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, “I think the likelihood of Hitler being able to accomplish his goals would have been greatly diminished if the people had been armed.” In other words, if the Jews had had guns, the Nazis wouldn’t have been able to do all those nasty things to them. This wasn’t the first time the good doctor had made use of the convenient Nazi analogy for defeating the bad guys, either.
  2. The response to #BabyHitler took over the Internet during the final week of October. Almost two weeks later, it resurfaced when Jeb Bush emphatically told reporters (“Hell yeah, I would!“) he’d kill the infant Hitler if given the chance.
