According to CNN, suspected Ohio State University attacker Abdul Razak Ali Artan expressed concerns about violence against Muslims on his Facebook page.
Artan, who has been identified as an 18-year-old freshman student at the university, was killed by police after he used a car and butcher knife to injure several people on campus today.
“A Facebook page believed to belong to the Ohio State University assailant included grievances about attacks on Muslims,” CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer said.
He continued, “Investigators are examining the page to determine if this, indeed, was an act of terror that will take some more time to investigate, to ascertain whether or not there may have been other motives as well.”
It has been reported that he is a lawful permanent resident and moved to this country from Somalia. Also, Columbus, Ohio, has one of the largest Somali populations in America.
