‘I’m Out!’ Jessica Tarlov Snaps After Fox News Co-Hosts Joke That GOP-Voting ‘Blacks’ Are ‘Better’ Than Dems
Fox News’ Jessica Tarlov exclaimed, “I’m out,” after co-host Greg Gutfeld remarked that “ours are better than yours” in reference to Black people who vote Republican on Friday’s edition of The Five.
The spat started over a discussion about the threats that President Donald Trump faces in comparison to those Democrats face, with Tarlov citing the case of Minnesota Democratic lawmaker Melissa Hortman, who was killed along with her husband last June.
“No one knows who that is,” claimed co-host Jesse Watters.
“Trump didn’t say, ‘Go out there and get in their face,'” added Gutfeld.
“The pipe bomber who said in court, ‘I was inspired by Donald Trump,'” Tarlov retaliated, referencing Cesar Sayoc, who pled guilty in 2019 to mailing 16 bombs to politicians he considered enemies of Trump.
“Which pipe bomber? The Black guy?” asked Watters, talking about Brian Cole Jr., who was charged with placing pipe bombs outside of the DNC and RNC headquarters the night before the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. “Remember when we found out he was, like, some random Black guy?”
“Oh my God, ha ha ha, random Black guy!” mocked Tarlov. “You have no Black people, so I get it, on your side. Is that what you’re trying to say?”
“We have a few,” clapped back Watters. “We’re working on it.”
“Work harder,” Tarlov demanded, before Gutfeld added, with a laugh, “Ours are better than yours.”
“Not touching that,” Tarlov said.
“We actually won more Blacks than we did last time,” insisted Watters. In the 2024 election, Trump won 15 percent of Black voters, up 8 percent from four years earlier.
Tarlov responded, “You got, like, one percent more and you think it’s —”
“I’ll take it!” exclaimed Watters. “You keep losing whites! Rather have the whites, statistically.”
“I’m out!” Tarlov finally conceded. “I am racially out.”
“Jesse, do not get into an argument with somebody who keeps score of skin color,” Gutfeld offered.
“He said, ‘We have better Blacks than you,” Tarlov stressed.
“No, I didn’t say that,” Watters countered.
“I said that,” admitted Gutfeld.
“You’re mixing up the white guys again,” joked Watters, “because we all look alike.”
