Eminem is back on the anti-Trump warpath.
Two months after his viral rap bashing President Donald Trump aired during the BET Hip Hop Awards, the Detroit rapper is taking on POTUS once again. During an in-depth conversation with New York Magazine, Eminem made clear that he doesn’t want his words about Trump to be written off as part of his act. He truly does, to quote his lyrics, “F*CKIN! HATE! TRUMP!”
“He makes my blood boil,” Eminem told New York. “I can’t even watch the news anymore because it makes me too stressed out. All jokes aside, all punch lines aside, I’m trying to get a message out there about him. I want our country to be great too, I want it to be the best it can be, but it’s not going to be that with him in charge.”
The rapper noted that prior to Trump officially declaring his run for the Oval Office, he was actually willing to entertain the notion of the former Apprentice host as Commander-in-Chief. But that changed on the day he declared his candidacy.
“[H]e had that speech where he said Mexico is sending us rapists and criminals,” Eminem said. “I got this feeling of what the f*ck? From that point on, I knew it was going to be bad with him. What he’s doing putting people against each other is scary f*cking sh*t. His election was such a disappointment to me about the state of the country.”
