EPA Chief Pruitt Reportedly Made Staff Shuttle Him Around to Ritz Hotels to Find His Favorite Lotion

It’s starting to look like EPA Chief Scott Pruitt thought getting a spot in the White House Cabinet was akin to becoming the sultan.
According to two officials who spoke anonymously with the Washington Post, Pruitt had his 24/7 security detail carry out several tasks beyond the scope of their jobs, including picking up his dry cleaning (without him) and facilitating a wild goose chase to Ritz-Carlton Hotels in search of his favorite lotion (with him).
Which lotion was it? StateScoop‘s Benjamin Freed has narrowed it down to a few options:
BUT! A cursory search of Ritz-Carlton’s online home goods store reveals that the hotel chain offers multiple varieties of moisturizing lotions. So which one was it?

Then there’s the Purple Water Hand & Body Lotion, made by the British luxury goods company Asprey. Perhaps Pruitt was looking for something that “moisturizes and lifts your mood all in one” with notes of spicy ginger and sweet orange flowers. $37.50.https://t.co/BdV8bhieGZ pic.twitter.com/K9pdbZ93Kf

Anyway, the Post grabbed another great scoop on Pruitt. I’m just saying we need to know if he’s a bergamot guy or a lemony scent of chamomile guy.

So what have we learned? Two things: One, Scott Pruitt knows the importance of keeping his supple skin glowing and moisturized. Two, he thinks looking for lotion accompanied by a full security detail is an OK use of time and resources.
The cons outweigh the pros, wouldn’t you say?
