Dear @ESPN,
Apologize now for doing a sketch where you auctioned a Black man off to the highest bidder. pic.twitter.com/D8SC1cjhBU

ESPN is under fire for spoofing fantasy football in a sketch as an live auction, which some were reminded of slavery.
In the sketch, an auctioneer was selling a football player, who just so happened to be black, to a crowd of people, who just so happen to be all white.
Here were a few reactions:
ESPN sold Odell on an auction block to a crowd of White people. In 2017.

What if I told you ESPN made one of its biggest gaffes ever at the worst time possible? ESPN’s 30 For 30… The Auction Sketch

I know what it is. The optics are TERRIBLE.
It looks like GET OUT.
An all white male audience bidding for a prime Black man.
A mess. https://t.co/P4AxMy3oyc
