German Company Using Snowden, NSA Spying To Promote… Lingerie (PHOTOS)

The ongoing international manhunt for NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden has inspired lots of political chatter, but did you ever imagine it would be the inspiration for German lingerie ads? Well, now it has. Mashable reports that Blush Lingerie, a German company that makes lingerie, is making an odd new promotional pitch focused around Snowden searching for asylum and the NSA surveillance that he exposed.

There has been a surprising amount of Snowden on the company’s Facebook page, including a photo with the following caption:

Dear Edward Snowden,
Instead of hanging around in Moscow or Ecuador, why don´t you come to blush Berlin? We offer you the best asylum, you can have. We have a bed and champagne. And we really treat the intimates of other people with great care

So there you go, a lingerie company is inviting Snowden to seek asylum in Germany.

But there are also two posters that Blush is using for this unique promotional pitch. Both are below:

Meanwhile, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper sent a letter to members of Congress apologizing for lying a few months ago when he claimed that the NSA does not “wittingly” collect information on millions of Americans.
