‘GOPs New Health Care Plan Screws More People Than Gerard Butler’: Twitter Reacts to CBO Analysis of AHCA

Monday afternoon saw the CBO release their analysis of new GOP healthcare bill. Under it, a whopping 52 million Americans would be uninsured by 2026 (as opposed to 28 million should the current plan remain in place), while the national deficit would be cut by $337 billion over the course of a decade.
Given the dramatic findings by the Congressional Budget Office, many took to Twitter to express their feelings.
Now seems like a good moment to revisit the GOP and Paul Ryan’s official FAQ on the health care bill… https://t.co/8UEx0RzJhT pic.twitter.com/DWlGmQzFNi

When the GOP spins the CBO score as great news for the deficit, know that it’s because of massive Medicaid cuts & elimination of subsidies. pic.twitter.com/hEvKREQISh

Yeah, but the CBO is fake. Instead, let us look at this crayon drawing I completed this morning. Clearly, everyone is smiling and it’s sunny

If the government can’t people in good health, it has no business spending more than this on defense. https://t.co/P96KPBuBmK

Trump in January: “Insurance for everybody!”

I expected the CBO report to be bad for GOP. I was wrong. It’s worse. Far worse.

#CBO says 14m immediately lose insurance, rising to 26m. Premiums go up for millions more. My god. Stop this now, @SpeakerRyan.

Who is going to break the CBO news to Trump?

Planned Parenthood would lose $234m in funding in House #Obamacare replacement bill, #CBO says. Big political football in all this ?#AHCA

CBO: Stopping federal funding to planned parenthood would save $156 million, and lead to “several thousand” more births.

CBO has effectively killed the Trumpcare proposal and revealed, yet again, the president to be an egregious fraud all at once. https://t.co/SjE9oznLez

14M more uninsured next year, and 24M by 2026?? We have questions, @SpeakerRyan. #CBO pic.twitter.com/RMn9yrEIHr
