The conference tournaments are just about over. Finally, the brackets are set to be revealed.
Selection Sunday is upon us, and the NCAA Tournament committee will soon announce who’s in, who’s out, and who’s going where in the field of 68.
Gonzaga, North Carolina, Villanova, and Kansas appear poised for top seeds. While Syracuse, USC, Kansas State, and Illinois State are among the more intriguing bubble teams this year. Illinois State might be the most interesting of all, given how few mid-majors are in the running for an at-large bid this year. They went 27-6 overall, but apart from one win in three tries against Wichita State, their resume is lacking in signature wins. We’ll see what the committee does with them.
The brackets will be revealed starting at 5:30 p.m ET on CBS. The show can be streamed online free with a cable subscription via NCAA March Madness Live.
