Jimmy Kimmel Applauds Susan Collins for ‘Putting People Ahead of Party’ With Graham-Cassidy Decision

Just like he thanked John McCain last week, Jimmy Kimmel is saluting Senator Susan Collins for her decision to vote against the Graham-Cassidy Bill.

Collins’ office announce her decision shortly after the Congressional Budget Office gave a negative primary analysis of the latest effort to repeal and replace Obamacare. Collins is the third GOP senator to go against her party’s bill, which cripples its likelihood of passing in a vote.

Kimmel became highly-involved in the health care debate last week after he slammed Bill Cassidy for failing the “Jimmy Kimmel Test” that the senator set for himself as a health care standard. Cassidy brushed off Kimmel’s criticisms, and the ABC funnyman ended up sparring with conservative figures over the last few days.
