John Travolta: I’m ‘Not Interested’ in Leah Remini’s Scientology Docu-Series

john-travoltaLeah Remini‘s docu-series Scientology and the Aftermath has made a lot of headlines and while lots of us are watching, John Travolta most definitely isn’t.

He was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award for his portrayal of Robert Shapiro in The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, and E! News’ Mark Malkin caught up with him on the red carpet. When asked whether he’s watching Remini’s series, he said, “No. Not interested.”

“It’s been nothing but helpful to me,” he said of Scientology. “For 40 years, through all my losses- my mother, my girlfriend, my son, and they’ve never left my side. So why would I want to buy into something that’s not what I feel?”

But, he doesn’t seem to be phased by the fact that she made the documentary. “As long as I get to do it and my family gets to do it, I’m happy.”
