Well, Dr. David Dao’s eventual lawsuit against United Airlines just got a little easier. Video footage posted on Mashable shows that the passenger was not “disruptive and belligerent,” as company CEO Oscar Munoz initially described him.
In the video, Dr. Dao replied to a law enforcement officer, “I am a physician. I have to work tomorrow.” However, he is not shouting and causing a scene.
The tone in his voice did get louder seconds later when he emphasized that he was “not going.” Dr. Dao continued to talk normally with the officer until the video cuts out before the now-infamous dragging started.
