Nintendo Purposely Made its New Switch Cartridges Taste Terrible so Naturally Everyone on the Internet is Licking Them
While adults generally know that the cartridges of our electronics are not meant to be eaten, babies have a harder time with that kind of thing. That’s why, according to IGN’s Alance Pearce, when Nintendo made its new devices, they made the cartridges taste really, really terrible.
Okay, so, turns out Nintendo Switch cartridges taste awful so kids won't eat them. I, uh, just licked one and can confirm: TASTES BAD MAN.

But…you know what happens when you find out something tastes terrible. You need to know, immediately, what it tastes like. Everyone on the Internet agrees, and now licking your Nintendo Switch cartridge is a thing that’s happening all over Twitter and on gaming and tech blogs:

Nintendo: "we put a bad flavor on our cartridges so kids are discouraged from putting them on their mouth"
All of us: "we must taste it"
