Speaker Paul Ryan and Senator Orrin Hatch said today that President Trump should not be terminating DACA.
The President said today that his decision on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program would be coming soon, while adding, “We love the DREAMers, we love everybody.”
Hatch, an original co-sponsor of the DREAM Act, said in a statement today that Trump shouldn’t rescind it, saying there needs to be a “workable, permanent solution”:

Ryan, meanwhile, weighed in during an interview on WCLO today. When asked if Trump should end DACA, Ryan said, “I actually don’t think he should do that. I believe that this is something that Congress has to fix.”
He said there are people currently “in limbo,” citing the President himself saying he wants a “humane” solution.
