The ad put out by the pro-Romney PAC Restore Our Future focuses on the GOP presidential candidate being brought in to save the 2002 Olympics which, by 1999, were “mired in scandal.”

The ad quotes former Chief Operating Officer for the 2002 Winter Games, Fraser Bullock, who said that Romney turned around a $400 million deficit and turned it into a $100 million surplus. The ad also notes how Romney delivered a safe and secure games just months after September 11, 2001.

“Mitt gets things done,” said Shea. “He’s changed my life.”

“Mitt Romney brought a huge sense of hope,” said Yamaguchi.

“Mitt allowed athletes like myself to realize our dreams,” says Parra.
