Vice President Pence Visits Military Base Near Korean DMZ After Failed Missile Launch

Vice President Mike Pence made an unannounced trip to Camp Bonifas today, which places him just outside of the Demilitarized Zone seperating South Korea from North Korea.
Pence arrived in Seoul earlier this weekend as part of a 10 day diplomatic tour in Asia. After his visit to the South Korean capital, the Vice President headed towards the command outpost, where he is expected to receive the latest information about the ongoing situation out of North Korea.
Pyongyang has made new threats towards America over the course of last week, and the North Koreans attempted to launch a new missile last night. All accounts suggest the warhead exploded almost instantaneously, and Pence denounced North Korea’s continued hostilities as a “provocation.”
