WATCH: Iraqis Are Naming Restaurants and Babies After Trump
Today, a report filed by CNN’s Ben Wedeman showed viewers a new trend in Iraq: Donald Trump is becoming a namesake for everything from restaurants to newborns.
One father explained that his three-week-old is named Trump because of what he saw as the real estate tycoon’s clear-cut policies and aggressive nature.
Another man named his fish restaurant after Trump because he thinks the President-elect will stop ISIS. He even said he would love to open a satellite version near the White House. The entrepreneur called Trump’s proposed Muslim ban “campaign rhetoric” and doesn’t think it will stop him from achieving his goal.
