WATCH LIVE: Sarah Huckabee Sanders Holds First White House Briefing Since Correspondents Dinner

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will hold the first White House briefing today since the White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday night.

The dinner, of course, has been facing particular controversy over jokes Michelle Wolf made about Huckabee Sanders. Many people thought they were too personal and mean-spirited, but Wolf responded by saying she clearly wasn’t joking about her appearance and has no regrets about any of her jokes.

White House officials criticized the jokes and defended Huckabee Sanders, and while she may not want to talk about the controversy that much today, at least one reporter will try to ask about it, especially given the furor surrounding the WHCA and calls to end the dinner.

Huckabee Sanders will also no doubt be taking questions on the progress being made with North Korea, as well as the Iran nuclear deal, given Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s presentation yesterday saying “Iran lied.”

And, of course, amid all the other big news happening, there’s also the little fact of Robert Mueller‘s questions to President Trump being leaked to the press. The questions themselves and the president’s feelings on all of them will almost certainly be raised at the briefing.

The briefing is scheduled for 2:30 pm ET. Watch above, via The White House.
