Trump Posts Totally Not Sad Self-Hype Video In Dead Of Night Of People Cheering Him Doing Slo-Mo Stuff

Former President Donald Trump posted an over-the-top hype video in the dead of night that featured him doing slo-mo stuff while people cheer, all with a blaring soul soundtrack that he has been warned not to use. SAD!

When he’s not holding rallies where he generates headlines about parroting the language of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler or still thinking Obama is the president, or giving interviews along similar lines, or slurring and stumbling his way through speeches where he mocks other people’s mental sharpness that will later become evidence at congressional hearings, or giving the very best interviews in terms of word, or ranting about how his gaffes are actually on purpose, Trump is a frequent poster to his Truth Social platform. While it lasts.

Those posts usually take the form of text rants with copious use of ALL CAPS WITH EXCLAMATION POINTS about things like “STOLLEN” elections. But Trump also sometimes posts brief video rants shot at one of his golf properties that are remarkable in their ability to recreate the elements of those text rants.

The Truth Social feed can be a window into Trump’s thinking, such as it is.

In the dead of night, at 2 am on Friday, Trump was apparently thinking he wanted to feel the thrill of people cheering at a football game when he managed to successfully flip a coin or interacting with him at official events when he was still president before he lost to President Joe Biden, or walking into an MMA fight where someone gave him the finger on camera.

The video is heavy with imagery from Trump’s presidency, an indication of his own nostalgia for the trappings of pre-defeat life as much as that of his fans.

I’m not saying that President Biden’s “jugular” strategy of taunting Trump as a losing loser who loses — and whose own MAGA media asks him brutal questions like, hey, what if you actually WON the popular vote? (cue “Pure Imagination”) — is making Trump suck his thumb and hold tight to bits of video outing flannel, but I’m not not saying it either.
