More than a quarter of voters are more likely to vote for Donald Trump following his conviction on more than 30 felony counts, according to a new survey.

Data released by Emerson College on Thursday showed that 27% of voters say they are more likely to back the former president after he was found guilty in his hush money trial in Manhattan. A third of voters said the conviction makes them less likely to vote for Trump in November, while 40% said the conviction does not influence their decision at all.

Those numbers change of course when respondents are broken down by party. More than 50% of Republicans said Trump’s conviction makes them more likely to support him. Among independents, 21% said the conviction makes them more likely to support the former president, while 38% said the news makes them less likely to lean toward the Republican ticket.

Trump’s support remained unchanged since before the conviction with the former president pulling 46% support, matching the numbers he drew the month prior. President Joe Biden saw a 1% uptick in support month-to-moth, pulling 45% support in the latest survey.

Third party candidates are not significantly moving the needle, according to the data. When candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Jill Stein are included in the presidential candidates list, Trump’s support drops 2% and Biden’s drops 7%, respectively.

Undecided voters remain split months out from the election too. When asked which candidate they’d lean towards between the presumptive nominees for the two major political parties, undecided voters split right to the middle, 50-50.

Trump is currently awaiting sentencing which is scheduled for July 11. In the survey, 40% said they believe the former president should serve prison time for his felonies. Another 25% want him to cough up a fine and 15% want him to be punished with probation. Another 20% said they were unsure of the right punishment. Among Democrats, 67% want to see Trump serve prison time and 42% of independents agree.

Emerson’s poll was conducted June 4-5 among 1,000 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 3%.
