Trump Blasts MSNBC As ‘THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY’ in Early Morning Rage Storm

President Donald Trump once again put MSNBC in his sights, calling the network a “threat to democracy” in an all-caps early morning rant on Truth Social.

Trump took to Truth Social on Saturday and posted about CPAC, the southern border, and Elon Musk needing to be “more aggressive” in his role as head of DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), which is on a mission to make massive cuts to federal spending.

The president also blasted MSNBC once again, using his past nickname for them: “MSDNC.”

“MSNBC, COMMONLY KNOWN AS MSDNC, IS A THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY. SUCH LYING AND MISREPRESENTATION. BAD PEOPLE AT THE TOP!” Trump wrote.

Trump and his administration have found themselves butting heads with multiple outlets since taking over the White House. The Associated Press filed suit after being barred from White House events, with the White House citing AP’s refusal to refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America” as the primary reason.

He’s also tangled up in a lawsuit with CBS, seeking damages over what he claims was deceptive editing in a 60 Minutes interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

The president has recently taken multiple shots at MSNBC and even questioned whether they have a “right to broadcast.” The president did meet with MSNBC hosts and frequent critics Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski at Mar-a-Lago following his presidential election victory.

“MSDNC is even worse than CNN. They shouldn’t even have a right to broadcast — Only in America!” he wrote on Truth Social in January in response to a Mediaite story about CNN layoffs.

Also in January, Trump specifically called out MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, saying her show and the network behind it are “close to death.

“Wow! Rachel Maddow has horrible ratings. She’ll be off the air very soon. MSNBC IS CLOSE TO DEATH. CNN HAS REACHED THE BOTTOM. This is a good thing. They are the Enemy of the people!” he wrote at the time.
