WATCH: Trump Basks In Fervent Adoration Of Rally Crowd Pointing At Him And Chanting ‘We Love You! We Love You! We Love You!’
At at MAGA campaign rally in Durham, New Hampshire, Donald Trump took a few moments to pause and bask in a group adoration of him as his devoted flock chanted in unison their love.
Speaking to the MAGA crowd at a rally where he trashed Republican rivals Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis, bashed the state’s Republican governor Chris Sununu, and said Democrats are “poisoning the blood” of America with illegal immigration, he also periodically paused as the crowd showered him with cheers, chants, and devotion.
“Every time the radical left Democrats, Marxists, Communists and fascists indict me, I consider it a great badge of honor, because I am being indicted for you, thank you very much,” said Trump about halfway into the rally. “Thank you, I appreciate it, thank you very much.”
The crowd cheered and then a chant broke out in the crowd.
“we love you! We love you! We love you!” one or two louder voices could be heard shouting.
“Thank you,” said Trump. That was followed by more cheers as the chanting quickly spreading to the entire audience including those gathered on the dais behind him.
The chanting got louder and more emphatic, with the audience fervently pointing at Trump as they repeated the mantra, “WE LOVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU, WE LOVE” for another 20 seconds or so before Trump said, “thank you very much” again.
“And never forget, our enemies want to take away my freedom because I will never allow them to take away your freedom,” he said. “It is very simple when you think about it.”
Trump continued in that vein, saying how he stands between the crowd and those who would destroy them, and talking about the “great life” before running for office, “a life of tremendous luxury” that he gave up for the sake of his voters.
At a different point in the rally, Trump said America is “not a great country anymore.”
“It’s a total mess. Our country is not a great country anymore,” he said.
