‘YOU’RE KILLING MILLIONS!’ Protestor Disrupts RFK’s Opening Statement With Stunning Outburst

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was interrupted during his Senate hearing Thursday by a protestor accusing him of “killing millions.”

Kennedy on Thursday testified before the Senate Finance Committee on his health care agenda. Since stepping into the role following nomination from President Donald Trump, Kennedy has put his crusade against autism, and his promise to find its cause, at the forefront of his efforts. Notably, Kennedy is also a longtime vaccine and suggested that they play a role in rises cases of autism — though countless studies have concluded the two aren’t linked.

During Kennedy’s opening remarks, he suddenly stopped speaking and others behind him turned around in response to the commotion. Off-screen, someone could be heard shouting at the secretary. The protestor said something about “authorization” and added “it takes three months,” but the rest of their words were unclear.

On CNN’s feed of the hearing, the camera switched to a clear view of the protestor — a woman in a wheelchair. A security guard turned her wheelchair around and she was escorted out of the room.

“You’re killing millions!” the woman shouted as she was removed.

Kennedy was seen grinning before the hearing resumed and he continued talking.
