Anthony Scaramucci Repeatedly Calls Trump a Rapist in Call for Biden Campaign to Call Trump a Rapist
Former White House Communications Director under Trump, Anthony Scaramucci, had some advice for the Biden campaign: label former President Donald Trump a rapist. And to illustrate that point, he repeatedly called Trump a rapist as well.
Scaramucci appeared on Morning Joe Tuesday morning to promote a new podcast with MSNBC contributor Katty Kay. Towards the end of his appearance, Mike Barnicle pressed the 11-day Trump White House comms director about how the Biden campaign should make the over 1.2 million deaths from COVID-19 a central part of their campaign against Trump.
“I think that’s a tough thing to say because a lot of that stuff was outside the president’s control and the president himself, meaning President Biden knows some of that stuff is situational,” Scaramucci replied. “We can personalize it under President Trump. But I don’t think they want to do that any more than they want to take personally the inflation.”
“Anthony, I would say he did lie to the American people about the existence of Covid for quite some time,” pressed Mika Brzezinksi, to which her guest pivoted to rape charges that Trump has been found civilly liable for in the case of E. Jean Carroll.
You know, he’s been in the courts. Mika, they say that he’s a rapist. You have 12 people in a civil court, not a criminal court, that said that he is a rapist. I would be talking about things like that. The lying. He’s been defined as a rapist by a civil jury,” Scaramucci replied, using the word “rapist” three times.
“Those are the things I’d be bringing up over and over again. I think the deaths, I think, or something that I think they’re probably trying to be careful of the lying,” he concluded.”No question. The other facts about him. No question. Pound him every day on those facts.”
