CNN’s John Berman on Trump’s Latest ‘Fake News’ Tweet: ‘An Assault on Journalism’
CNN was the main target of President Trump‘s latest “fake news” tweet, this time with a trophy involved. And CNN’s John Berman had some tough words in response.
“With tax reform hanging in the balance, with a government shutdown looming, with North Korea still menacing, what is the President focused on this morning?” Berman asked. “Let me show you.”
We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me). They are all bad. Winner to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY!

Brian Stelter recalled what the President recently claimed about how he doesn’t watch much TV.
Berman then said this;
“Forget that CNN is included in it, because that’s not necessarily what’s important here. What’s important here is this is an assault on free speech, this is an assault on journalism. Any journalism that he doesn’t like.”
Stelter said it’s pretty clear Trump “tears down outlets other than Fox” so he can “inoculate himself from the challenges around his White House.”
