Dan Crenshaw Tells CBS Panel to Mind Their Words When It Comes to Trump ‘Attacking’ Press: ‘I’ve Literally Been Attacked’
Rep-elect Dan Crenshaw is a former Navy SEAL who lost an eye in combat.
He also thinks people should choose their words carefully when talking about an attack.
Speaking on Face the Nation on Sunday, Crenshaw reminded his fellow panelists that while they throw around the word “attack” when it comes to Trump’s behavior towards the press, he’s literally been attacked while in service to the nation.
It all happened during a heated discussion over Trump’s berating the press.
“I would argue that our president is consistently disruptive…and I would argue that he treats [the press] with disrespect,” Rep.-elect Chrissy Houlahan said.
“How is that an attack on the press?” Crenshaw asked.
“Because it’s literally an attack,” Houlahan replied.
“I have literally been attacked,” Crenshaw reminded. “So let’s choose our words carefully.”
