‘Just Terribly Bored!’ Laura Ingraham Scoffs At Kamala Harris Hitting Trump For Wanting to ‘Terminate’ The Constitution

Fox News host Laura Ingraham laughed at Vice President Kamala Harris’s message to voters during a recent rally, labeling Harris jabbing Donald Trump for calling to “terminate” the U.S. Constitution “boring.”

Ingraham began the segment saying, “It’s official they’re out of ideas.”

She then played a clip of President Joe Biden saying, “He’s a genuine threat to our democracy. That’s not hyperbole. That is the God’s truth. And folks, it’s not just him. It’s the people who are around him. These MAGA Republicans mean what they say. They genuinely mean what they say.”

Ingraham then cut to a clip of Harris saying, “Just imagine now Donald Trump with no guardrails. Someone who suggests that we should terminate the Constitution of the United States.”

“The people behind her look so bored. Look at that. They’re just terribly bored! And the guy who claims to be so freaked out and the gal who claims to be so worried about Trump’s rhetoric to put their political enemies in jail. Well, Biden said this,” Ingraham continued, cutting to another clip of Biden:

I know it sounds bizarre. It sounds like I said this five years ago, you’d lock me up. We’ve got to lock him out. Politically lock him up. Lock him out. That’s what we have to do.

Notably, in 2022, Trump received a swift backlash after posting on Truth Social that his widely debunked claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election meant that a “Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.” “Let me just say, anyone seeking the presidency who thinks that the Constitution could somehow be suspended or not followed, it seems to me would have a very hard time being sworn in as president of the United States,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell responded at the time.

Ingraham then introduced her guest, Vivek Ramaswamy, who went on to predict a landslide for Trump in November. “I think we may be headed I’m going to use the L word here to the possibility of a landslide. I’m not saying it’s taken for granted. Complacency is not an option, but I think we could have a unifying landslide that is within reach. And I think that would be really therapeutic for the country. Biden is just making it easier by the day,” said the former GOP presidential candidate and Trump ally.
