Mika Brzezinski Goes OFF On ‘Aging Bullsh*t Artist’ Trump In Detroit Speech Takedown: ‘Hateful, Racist, Bigoted, Tired Narcissist!’
Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski slammed former President Donald Trump as an “aging bullshit artist” and a “hateful, racist, bigoted, tired narcissist” in a Friday morning rant that left the crew laughing as she unleashed following the Republican nominee’s Detroit speech.
The furious tirade came after Morning Joe ran a series of clips from the former president’s Thursday speech at the Detroit Economic Club, which could impact his political campaign where he warned that if his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, wins the 2024 election, the whole country “will end up being like Detroit.”
Trump also praised billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk’s SpaceX rockets and rambled about the word “grocery” in a point about inflation.
After the rollback, Brzezinski made up for the absence of co-host Joe Scarborough by furiously attacking the speech as those in the studio laughed.
I mean, I wouldn’t even call that the weave. I would not grace that with the phrase word salad. That just made no sense. And I just don’t understand anybody right now who could watch him talk and say, ‘yeah, he definitely makes more sense than the alternative.’
Like, all these people, I was watching the news yesterday, flipping around, and hearing hosts whining, ‘Kamala Harris needs to do more.’ Okay, more than everything she’s doing? Fine, give me your ideas. But what? I mean, watch the alternative for two minutes: ‘Grocery’? ‘The stomach is speaking’? Elon’s rocket ships. ‘Cylinders, circles, beautiful circles.’ What the hell?
The crew giggled.
I mean, that’s like an epic weave that he talks about, but his weaves aren’t brilliant. You know what he is doing? He is getting through the moment as an aging bull shit artist, okay? He is just getting through the moment.
Turning to MSNBC contributor Symone Sanders-Townsend, Brzezinski continued: “Insulting Detroit to its face, and you’re right, Symone, there is racism in there. There is always a tinge of racism in everything he said.”
Sanders-Townsend added, noting Trump was speaking to an audience of business owners: “He thought he was speaking to white people. He thought he could trash it. That’s my estimation. Let me trash Detroit because you all must live in the suburbs. “
Brzezinski, however, wasn’t finished.
Let me tell you something, there is something wrong with people who can watch that and think the alternative, Kamala Harris, isn’t more articulate, more prepared, more experienced, more able to… and when I say articulate, that means can actually deliver a message to the American people on a certain policy. You know she can.
If you can’t believe it, and this is your choice, you’re lying to yourself. You’re going to ruin this country. That’s — it’s going to be on you. It’s going to be on you. There’s no way you can watch that or any of his speeches and get anything out of it except for a hateful, racist, bigoted, tired, aging, branding – I wouldn’t say genius – branding-obsessed narcissist.
