North Korean Foreign Minister: ‘Trump is on a Suicide Mission,’ Strike on US Now ‘Inevitable’

In a fiery speech at the United Nations last week, President Donald Trump claimed Kim Jong Un’s nuclear endeavors are equivalent to a “suicide mission” — to which North Korea responded by re-upping their threats and saying the US is actually the country vying for self-destruction.
These comments came from North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho during a volatile speech in front of the UN Generally Assembly on Saturday.
Ri apparently took particular offense to Trump’s “Rocket Man” insult, saying:
“Due to his lacking of basic common knowledge and proper sentiment, he tried to insult the supreme dignity of my country by referring it to a rocket. By doing so however, he committed an irreversible mistake of making our rocket’s visit to the entire U.S. mainland inevitable all the more.”
Ri also claimed that North Korea’s nuclear capabilities are being developed to act as a “war deterrent” against a US invasion of the communist country. “Our ultimate goal is to establish the balance of power with the US,” said Ri.
In his statements, Ri called the US president a “mentally deranged person full of megalomania” — clearly taking cues from Kim’s recently penned viral insult calling Trump “a mentally deranged dotard.”
Trump responded to Kim’s threats — in typical Trump fashion — by launching a tweet at the dictator, “Kim Jong Un of North Korea, who is obviously a madman who doesn’t mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before!”

In a Saturday tweet, the president also lumped together North Korea and Iran by saying the two countries are in nuclear cahoots.
Iran just test-fired a Ballistic Missile capable of reaching Israel. They are also working with North Korea. Not much of an agreement we have!

Trump spent his time in front of the UN Generally Assembly last week threatening to “totally destroy” in the event that the US is put in the position to “defend itself or its allies.”
