As Tucker Carlson went off on the media and top Democrats for pushing a Russia narrative not backed up by the Mueller investigation wrapping up, he talked about people who have been “victims” of the probe––including Roger Stone.
“Roger Stone is facing life in prison,” he said. “He was indicted by an investigation designed to find collusion––indicted on minor charges. He was dragged from his own home in a morning FBI raid.”
Carlson even asked about him getting a pardon:
“Stone is still looking at life in prison. Where is Roger Stone’s pardon? His pardon from the president. Let’s hope it comes very soon.”
Later on in the program, Carlson asked Ed Henry about a potential Stone pardon, saying he could spend life in prison “for a process crime that wouldn’t have arisen without this investigation.”
Carlson asked Henry whether people in the White House have talked about a Stone pardon. “No,” Henry answered. “I’ve heard people outside the White House tell me very clearly that the president has been advised to let this investigation play out before he discusses pardons or does anything.”
He allowed it’s possible that Stone, Paul Manafort, and others could be pardoned.
