This band is amazing – DeLeon has turned historic Sephardic folk songs – many of it in Ladino, the near-lost language of Sephardic Jews (and you thought we just had Hebrew, Yiddish and Fran Drescher!) – and turns them into high-energy amazing indie rock. I loved them. Also, they were SO nice in the greenroom, which we had basically taken over with sequins and sunglasses and wigs and ridiculousness. Thanks guys. Learn more about them here.
