‘American Traitors’: Coulter Burns Cruz, Fox News over Reactions to Trump Rally Chaos
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter blasted off last night with a scathing Twitter tirade over the chaotic Trump rally meltdown in Chicago. Never one to miss a chance to say something controversial, though, her tweetstorm included accusations that Ted Cruz and Fox News were “traitors” to the country for their comments on Donald Trump‘s cancelled rally:
Fox News & Cruz are American traitors, in league with the liberal establishment. Silent majority must face fire from a unified oligarchy.

It it worth considering that Fox’s Megyn Kelly, Greta Van Susteren and Sean Hannity all offered defenses of Trump by saying that the protesters infringed on his free speech rights. While Coulter did not pinpoint which aspect of their coverage upset her, she supports Trump and she has seared the network numerous times recently over the way they treat him.
Coulter has also gone after Cruz quite a bit lately, and her criticisms for him were more obvious due to the Texas senator’s Trump-critical comments to reporters. “When you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence,” Cruz said, “you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discourse.”
As for Coulter’s comments on the rest of the night, here’s a little taste:
Anyone else notice the Mexican flags being waved by the anti-Trump Chicago mob?

This is textbook hooliganism, completely un-American (the Communist Party always used to do this at Socialist rallies.)

On the other hand, left-wing fascists violently shut down a peaceful Trump rally last night & Cruz + the entire media took the animals’ side

Reagan on violent protesters, April 7, 1970: “If it takes a bloodbath, let’s get it over with. No more appeasement.” Hello Ted? Mario?

Rubio proud no violent protesters at his rallies. Physics question: Is it possible for 4 people to riot?
