‘Liberal Fascism’: Hannity Unleashes Tweetstorm Against Media Matters for Targeting His Advertisers

Fox News host Sean Hannity has attracted quite a bit of negative attention over the past week for pushing a conspiracy theory about slain DNC staffer Seth Rich. After taking heat from the Rich family and his colleagues, and Fox News retracting a story about the Rich murder, Hannity took to the air last night to say he’d stop talking about Seth for the time being out of respect for the family. He did, however, tweet out that he’d keep working on it and retweeted Kim Dotcom with the hashtag #Justice4SethRich.

Another thing Hannity addressed on his program last night, and continued to hammer away at on Twitter this morning, was the targeting of his program’s advertisers by liberal watchdog group Media Matters for America. Labeling the action “liberal fascism,” Hannity complained that MMfA only does this to conservatives and wondered why they don’t go after certain programs.

He also touched on Seth Rich once again, claiming that he was going to keep digging for “the truth the family wants and deserves.”

Hannity ended the tweetstorm by highlighting a bunch of negative Media Matters articles from conservative outlets before posting an image of him with the hashtag #IStandWithHannity:
