‘Liberal Fascism’: Hannity Unleashes Tweetstorm Against Media Matters for Targeting His Advertisers

Fox News host Sean Hannity has attracted quite a bit of negative attention over the past week for pushing a conspiracy theory about slain DNC staffer Seth Rich. After taking heat from the Rich family and his colleagues, and Fox News retracting a story about the Rich murder, Hannity took to the air last night to say he’d stop talking about Seth for the time being out of respect for the family. He did, however, tweet out that he’d keep working on it and retweeted Kim Dotcom with the hashtag #Justice4SethRich.
Ok TO BE CLEAR, I am closer to the TRUTH than ever. Not only am I not stopping, I am working harder. Updates when available. Stay tuned!

Another thing Hannity addressed on his program last night, and continued to hammer away at on Twitter this morning, was the targeting of his program’s advertisers by liberal watchdog group Media Matters for America. Labeling the action “liberal fascism,” Hannity complained that MMfA only does this to conservatives and wondered why they don’t go after certain programs.
Liberal Fascism. Mmfa is targeting my advertisers to silence my voice. They hope to get me fired. Rush, O’Reilly, Beck, Imus, & now me.

Notice MMFA only does this to conservatives. Smear, slander, malice, half truths, purposefully taking things out of context. Why….. https://t.co/jPnoX38Bhb

Why do they not go after @nbc hosts or @CNN hosts? Serious questions will now be raised on funding, tax status, and political agenda. https://t.co/CLODSzUotY

Why didn’t they go after HBO Real Time? Colbert? Simple, MMFA only wants to silence conservatives. Who funds them? Who are political friends https://t.co/iEkj9i7xWl

He also touched on Seth Rich once again, claiming that he was going to keep digging for “the truth the family wants and deserves.”
Not giving up at all. I’m working harder than ever to get to the truth the family wants and deserves. Stay tuned. https://t.co/dVjWT6PZyh

Hannity ended the tweetstorm by highlighting a bunch of negative Media Matters articles from conservative outlets before posting an image of him with the hashtag #IStandWithHannity:
