Megyn Kelly Presses RNC Spokesperson On Who Went To “Bondage-Themed Nightclub”

We’ve been occasionally critical of Megyn Kelly and her news show America Live in the past, but today she gets credit where credit is due – she would not let RNC spokesperson Doug Heye off the hook as he tried to wiggle out of explaining the “bondage-themed nightclub” charges brought up today by the Daily Caller.

It was an impressive interview – check it out:

Kelly got right to the point at the top of the interview: “Who was in the bondage-themed nightclub out in LA who was connected to the RNC?”

Heye wouldn’t really weigh in on who was there, but he made clear Michael Steele wasn’t. He also promised that “we’ve gotten a commitment,” the money will be paid back. But Kelly fired back. “If you got a commitment that the money’s going to be paid back, then you must know to whom it was paid, so who was it?” she asked.

“Well I don’t know the person specifically,” said Heye, who maintained he did not know the person even as Kelly threw out the name “Eric Brown” as someone who Fox had learned was the person responsible.

Kelly has held Steele to account as well, earlier this month pressing him on the questionable RNC PowerPoint presentation.

Here’s the interview today:

Update the family value list to include bondage activities.

Still wondering what the hell was up with Palin’s outfits lately. Again, this explains it a bit better than blissful ignorance from Sarah.

Thanks for the posts that have nothing to do with the article….dumbasses.

I reject and denounce myself, I’m just curious as to since when certain fetishes started to be instituted within GOP fashion. Or at least when domination based fetishes were instituted.

Lets get rid of the hypocritical “conservative” Republicans as well as those who voted for health care in November.

    > I’m just curious as to since when certain fetishes started to be instituted within GOP fashion.

Nah, it has to do with hypocrisy. It’s easier to preach values than to follow them. The GOP’ve cornered themselves in on this issue.

I’m not willing to ascribe Megyn’s motives to journalistic integrity, yet. Vicarious sexual perversity seems to be very popular among the Republican sorts and on FOX “News”. This may just be a ratings builder.

The Palin outfit angle is interesting, I have to admit. I can imagine bringing Sarah home to meet Mother. She’d tear her garments, cast off her shoes, stop the clocks and cover the mirrors, then set Shiva for me, even though we are Catholics.

As I commented to the other post, I thought Ms. Kelly dropped the ball on the Michael Steele interview, but I think she did much better, here. Perhaps, she learned from the previous experience, maybe she considers donor’s money more important than doctored images or quite possibly, she doesn’t feel the need to tip-toe around Doug Heye; Nonetheless, I feel she did a good job with the actual interview, even though she did let him insinuate an unsubstantiated blog report against the Dems.

I think this should get as much attention as possible and expose those who did this. Democrats or repubs cannot just freely do what they want and get away with it.

How surprising that you judge a woman on what clothes she wears…

    … you guys *shakes head*.

Come to think of it, all RNC members appear to be in deep, deep bondage. It’s their mindscape.
