Spitzer Day Three! Every Woman Is A Hooker At Heart

Forget about Twitter classes and New York Times columnists teaching online seminars, the New York Post should offer a course in survival journalism. It is a thing to behold. Yesterday, I speculated that the next step in the Post‘s week-long campaign to put Eliot Spitzer back in office would be to talk to the “close friends” of his “long-suffering” wife Silda Spitzer. I was wrong! Though not by much. Today’s episode is all about that other suffering woman in Spitzer’s life: Ashley Dupre.
Turns out Dupre has a blog and is not happy about the way she’s been depicted by the Post this week (say it ain’t ho!). According to Dupre, every woman in New York is guilty of using men for money, etc., etc. You can read it here.
Think the Post will draw this out to the end of the week? I suspect sans any breaking news there are at least two more covers on the way after that it’s up to Spitzer to do some of the heavy lifting.
